Types of paddle cages – an overview of the solutions available on the market

Padel is a rapidly growing sport that is also gaining popularity in Poland. One of the key elements of padel infrastructure is a properly selected court structure – the so-called padel cage. The choice of its type not only affects the aesthetics and comfort of the game, but also the investment costs and long-term maintenance of the facility. Below is an overview of the main types of padel cages according to the Neopadel classification:

Superpanorama
The superpanoramic cage is the most visually impressive solution available on the market. This structure has no vertical posts at the back of the court, which ensures full transparency and impressive aesthetics – both for players and spectators. It impresses with its modern, lightweight design and is perfect for premium facilities or show courts, where a prestigious appearance and spectator comfort are key. However, one must take into account the higher cost of production and installation, as well as limited durability in outdoor conditions and more difficult maintenance. Another significant disadvantage is the loss of reference points if the courts are located close to each other in the club.

Panorama
Panorama is a structure that combines aesthetics and functionality in an almost perfect way. Thanks to the posts located only in the corners of the rear wall, it provides very good visibility while maintaining the stability of the entire structure. This solution is less expensive than superpanorama, but still offers a modern look and comfort of play, both inside and outside buildings. Despite minor visibility limitations in the corners, Panorama is the most versatile and balanced solution available on the market. Investors looking for a balance between aesthetics, durability, and cost should take a particularly close look at this option.

Titan
Titan is a reinforced cage designed for harsh weather conditions and outdoor installations. The use of more solid steel profiles and stronger fasteners translates into exceptional resistance to wind and other weather conditions. The longer service life of the structure is an undeniable advantage, especially in locations without roofing. The disadvantages may include a slightly more massive appearance, higher transport and installation costs, and less impressive aesthetics compared to panoramic solutions. Titan is an option for those who value durability and reliability above all else.

Single
Single courts are a novelty that is gaining popularity, especially in places with limited space and in clubs offering individual training. Their biggest advantage is their compact size, which translates into lower investment and operating costs. They are perfect as a space for technical work and individual training. On the other hand, singles have limited use – mainly for training – and lower profitability when rented by the hour, which makes them more of a supplement to larger infrastructure than a standalone investment.

Mobile cage
Mobile cages are a flexible solution designed for events, promotional activities, and outdoor tournaments. Their main advantage is the ability to quickly assemble and disassemble them and transport them easily. This makes them ideal for testing locations before a larger investment or for organizing sporting events in different places. However, one should take into account the lower stability of the structure, reduced playing comfort, and limited durability during long-term use.

Summary
The choice of the right type of padel cage depends on many factors: installation location, budget, user profile, and aesthetic expectations. For investors looking for a golden mean between quality, functionality, and visual effect, the panorama solution seems to be the most balanced and universal.

It is an investment that combines modern design with durability and stability, while remaining affordable. A well-chosen design is the basis for the success of any paddle tennis facility, so it is worth thinking about this choice strategically.
